“I love the fact that I’m doing exactly what I was put here to do!” I began my career as a nurse’s aide in high school and have dedicated my life to serving, educating, and caring for clients across all ages for over twenty years.  I have spent a large majority of my nursing career at the bedside caring in Medical Surgical clients with various complex disease processes such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, Diabetes, Cancers, Hospice, Dementia just to name a few at the University of Pennsylvania health system. While there, my main focus was on patient education, disease management, acknowledging clients’ individuality, rights, and dignity.  In addition, I have spent over 4 years as a Home Care Case Manager for the HUP health system. While in that role, I was able to coordinate medical treatment, and serve as a client advocate while focusing on relationship building with clients and families. Most recently, I became a full time caregiver at home with my bedridden father who suffered multiple medical conditions until his transition. I knew then that vision that I wanted for Granted Homecare Inc. was to treat and interact with our clients with respect, dignity, compassion, empathy, honesty, and integrity while keeping their quality of life and well-being at the heart of what we do!
