THE ANSWERS THAT MATTER - FAQS

How do I determine what home care services I need?

Granted Homecare Inc. conducts an initial in-home evaluation for potential clients. From there, our clinical staff provides a full assessment and develops a Client Service Plan to determine which of our services are appropriate for your specific needs.

Do You charge extra for holidays and weekends?

GHC does not charge an additional fee for nights and weekends. We charge time-and-a-half for the following U.S. Federal Statutory Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

How does GHC select their caregivers?

GHC hires only the highest quality of staff. All employees are extensively interviewed and screened prior to hire, and we are required by law to perform state and national criminal background checks on all potential employees. Past work history and references are thoroughly checked with previous employers and supervisors. We set and maintain high standards and expect the same of our employees to ensure the finest and most consistent home care services.

Is your staff bonded and insured?

Yes. All employees are bonded and fully insured by Worker’s Compensation insurance general and professional liability insurance.

How do you supervise caregivers?

At the onset of care, we create a schedule and plan covering all aspects of the appropriate level of care needed for a particular client. We go over this plan with each caregiver. A Nursing Supervisor will make regular visits and phone calls to ensure that the care plan is adequate and is executed properly.

Will I have a choice of a caregiver or will a caregiver be assigned to me?

We will arrange an interview between you and the caregiver selected for your needs. However, if you find that the caregiver is not a good fit based on personality or experience, we will arrange for you to meet with additional caregivers until we find the caregiver that best matches your needs.
